Jiayi grew up in China and Australia prior to attending the University of Toronto where he co-founded Magna est Veritas, a pre-med club with a 90% success rate for medical school admissions. He is passionate about both medical research and networking opportunities that are targeted and longitudinal. Jiayi is a two-time graduate of the University of Toronto (HBSc in 2009, Pharmacology & Biochemistry, and MD in 2013). He is a practicing physician having completed his residency in Plastic Surgery (McMaster University, 2018).
