Book Launch: Your Guide to Get into Medical School

Jiayi grew up in China and Australia prior to attending the University of Toronto where he co-founded Magna est Veritas, a pre-med club with a 90% success rate for medical school admissions. He is passionate about both medical research and networking opportunities that are targeted and longitudinal. Jiayi is a two-time graduate of the University of Toronto (HBSc in 2009, Pharmacology & Biochemistry, and MD in 2013). He is a practicing physician having completed his residency in Plastic Surgery (McMaster University, 2018).

Manveen majored in Genes, Genetics, and Biotechnology (HBSc, 2009) and graduated with high distinction before going to medical school (MD, 2013) at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete residency training in Family Medicine at the same institution (CCFP, 2015). He is now pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario.

Dr. Sameer Masood is Royal College Senior Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of Toronto and a founding partner at MD Consultants. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Public Health at Harvard University with a focus on Innovation and Quality Improvement.

Aly Madhavji is the author of “Your Guide to Succeed in University” the #1 College book on Amazon. Aly served as a Governor of the University of Toronto where he was a member of the Executive Committee and Academic Board of the institution. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Toronto Mississauga Alumni Association and the College of Electors.
