Vincent started his residency program in July 2022 after completing medical school at Queen’s University. He matched Pediatrics at the University of Ottawa and has since transferred into Anesthesiology at OttawaU in 2023. Prior to medical school, Vincent completed his Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences at McMaster University, and his Master of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children. Vincent has a keen interest in 2SLGBTQ+ health, translational research, and youth programming. His previous research experiences include projects varying from basic sciences, translational research with patient samples, clinical epidemiology, and systematic reviews.

During medical school, Vincent has served as the lead of the LGBTQ+ Health Committee and the Pediatric Interest Group lead. In addition, Vincent served as youth group leader in a local 2SLGBTQ+ youth group in the Kingston community, leading weekly recreational and educational sessions for 2SLGBTQ+ youth. In 2020, Vincent also served as a regional assistant for LGBT Youthline, leading the Provincial Youth Ambassador Project (PYAP). In this role, Vincent supported 8 youth ambassadors across Ontario as they developed projects for their local communities aimed at increasing 2SLGBTQ+ programming and building networks amongst youth. He has a passion for mentorship, teaching, and working with vulnerable populations.
