Vincent is a fourth-year medical student at Queen’s University, soon to be starting residency in July 2022. Prior to medical school, Vincent completed his Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences at McMaster University, and his Master of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. Vincent has a keen interest in 2SLGBTQ+ health, translational research, and youth programming. His previous research experiences include projects varying from basic sciences, translational research with patient samples, clinical epidemiology, and systematic reviews. During medical school, Vincent has served as the lead of the LGBTQ+ Health Committee and the Pediatric Interest Group lead. In addition, Vincent served as youth group leader in a local 2SLGBTQ+ youth group in the Kingston community. In 2020, Vincent also served as a regional assistant for LGBT Youthline leading the Provincial Youth Ambassador Project (PYAP) and supported 8 youth ambassadors across Ontario to increase 2SLGBTQ+ programming and building networks amongst youth. He has a passion for mentorship, teaching, and working with vulnerable populations.
