Dr. Sara Yumeen is a resident physician training to be a Dermatologist. She completed her undergraduate degree (HBSc) in Interdepartmental Honours Immunology at McGill University, followed by her Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Toronto.
While completing her medical degree, Dr. Yumeen undertook a two-year research fellowship in cutaneous oncology at Yale School of Medicine, where she investigated novel therapeutic targets for cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL). During this time, she authored publications in the fields of basic science and public health/outcomes research for cutaneous malignancies.
Dr. Yumeen is currently in her preliminary year internal medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Connecticut, after which she will complete her dermatology residency training at Brown University Warren Alpert School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and hiking. She also likes sketching and painting with watercolors.
