Rasika completed medical school at McMaster University in 2019 and is currently a Pediatrics Resident at McMaster University. Her clinical interests include pediatric medicine and the care of vulnerable populations. She is also engaged in medical education and quality improvement initiatives within this domain.
Prior to starting medical school, Rasika completed her MBA at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. While completing her MBA, she worked as a Project Analyst Intern at Princess Margaret Hospital. After graduating with her MBA, Rasika completed a work term at Preyra Solutions Group, a boutique healthcare consulting firm in Toronto. She took some time after this work term to reflect on her career and personal goals and decided to pursue her MD.
She volunteers her time to speak to and mentor students applying to professional schools. In her spare time, she has worked through several Netflix series, and also enjoys boxing recreationally. She is family-oriented and enjoys spending time and traveling with friends and family.
