Khalid Fahoum is an Internal Medicine resident at NYU Grossman School of Medicine with strong interests in Public Health, Global Health, Health Innovation, and Health Services Delivery. He will be pursuing Fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Maryland.
He earned his MD with honors in research from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, where he led multiple research teams and gained valuable experience in research methodology, statistical analysis, and medical writing. During this time, he served as co-director of the health equity committee, where he reviewed project proposals and allocated funding towards various projects with the goal of improving health equity in the local community. He additionally completed a Master’s degree in Global Health during which he gained valuable skills in health systems financing, cost-effectiveness analysis, and health policy analysis.
His experience in these areas positions him to be a leader in healthcare consulting, particularly in identifying gaps and improving systems to provide equitable care. His broad range of experience underscores his ability to blend clinical expertise with an understanding of the broader healthcare landscape, making him an asset for organizations aiming to improve care delivery and drive innovation.
