Ramy is a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto who is passionate about mentorship and teaching. He has been involved as a mentor with the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine Community of Support Program, Summer Mentorship Program, and the Peer Project Advocacy Mentoring Initiative Program. He is also enrolled in the Students as Teachers (SAT) Program facilitated by the Faculty of Medicine to provide students with formal teaching opportunities to prepare them for their future roles as leaders in medical education. Outside of school, Ramy enjoys playing guitar as part of the Noteworthy Music Program of Mount Sinai Hospital and participating in flag football and basketball intramurals (with limited success in both sports).
