Mehras is a first-year medical student (class of 2022) at Queen’s University. He completed her undergraduate degree (BSc.) in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University in 2017. Mehras is fascinated by basic and translational research. His research has focused on identifying potential cellular therapeutic targets that will alleviate muscle wasting common in diseases like cancer, COPD, and AIDS. He takes a keen interest in mentoring students at the high school and undergraduate levels. When he’s not busy studying, Mehras enjoys swimming and strumming his guitar.
