Jay received his HBSc from the Health Sciences Program at McMaster University and MD from the University of British Columbia. He is currently a Psychiatry resident at UBC. In this article, Jay discusses his experiences of obtaining medical school admission upon second attempt with the key message “good grades don’t guarantee medical school admission, nor the number of interview invites”.
