Joseph Choi, MD, MPH, FRCPC (Hypercare's Chief Operating Officer) completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto and his residency specializing in emergency medicine at McGill University. He formalized his passion for healthcare operations and improvement by completing a Master of Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health specializing in Healthcare Management and Policy, and holds the position of assistant professor at the University of Toronto. He currently serves on the hospital’s healthcare improvement committee, and mentors residents and students in healthcare operations and quality improvement methodology. He is passionate about reducing waste and inefficiencies in healthcare. He is in charge of product strategy, medical domain expertise, and day to day operations.
