Geoffrey was born in Ottawa but grew up in Northern Ontario. He returned to the nation’s capital to complete his undergraduate degrees (in biochemistry and general arts) and Master’s at the University of Ottawa. He subsequently attended the Northern Ontario School of Medicine to complete his MD, where he was based out of the Sudbury campus. He is now completing his residency in Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. His professional interests include LGBT Health, medical education, and medical politics. In his spare time, he enjoys music, baking, knitting.
