Adrian is currently a medical student at Western University in the class of 2024. He completed his undergraduate science degree at Queen’s University and completed a subsequent Master of Science in the Aging and Health program at Queen’s as well. While in medical school, he has held several student research positions publishing multiple first author publications in the fields of interventional cardiology and hand and wrist surgery. Outside of academics, Adrian enjoys staying active, competing in basketball and volleyball intramurals and weight training. Adrian also enjoys playing the guitar and spending time outside hiking, paddleboarding, and snowboarding. Adrian is also passionate about giving back to his community in various ways. He volunteers with the Altitude Mentorship Program where he works with students interested in careers in healthcare from underrepresented populations and provides tutoring and mentorship services. He has also worked with the Trek for Teens Foundation since 2016, an organization that raises funds and awareness for youth homelessness in Canada. In this role, he has started two new regions in Kingston, Ontario, and Sudbury, Ontario, has worked as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing six departments overseeing the organization, and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. Adrian’s leadership and mentorship experiences stem from his desire to make a positive impact on the students that he works with. His passion for student empowerment and education led him to work as a consultant for MDConsultants where he is excited about helping students achieve their dreams of becoming a doctor!
