Adrian is a third-year medical student at the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Regina. After completing his degree, he worked as a registered nurse in internal medicine and cardiology while studying for the MCAT. He continues to work as a nurse while in medical school. His work as a nurse has inspired him to pursue a career in internal medicine as a future physician. Along with clinical work, he works as nursing faculty with Saskatchewan Polytechnic educating internationally-educated nurses in the lab and clinical setting. His extensive teaching experience also includes tutoring at the undergraduate level in nursing and medicine, peer-lecturing such as leading ECG interpretation workshops for his fellow medical students, and mentoring pre-med students. He has previously served as co-President of the Medical Education Student Group at USask where he has organized and led volunteers in facilitating Mock MMIs, panel interviews, and OSCEs. He enjoys mentoring pre-med students and providing constructive and encouraging feedback throughout each interaction. His goal is to support pre-meds in their journey and to continue growing his skills as a mentor and future physician.
