Emma is a second year medical student at University of Toronto. Prior to medical school she studied life sciences at Queens University and loved exploring Kingston with friends. Over the past five years Emma has been involved in research evaluating the combined use of natural health products and conventional medications. She is passionate about natural medicine and Indigenous health and hopes to be an advocate for the use of traditional medicines in her practice. She also has an interest in women’s health and has been working in research to improve the quality of care for pregnant patients post delivery. She applied to and was accepted to University of Toronto, McMaster, Queen’s and University of Ottawa medical schools. Having received help from MD Consultants to get into medical school herself, she hopes to repay the favour and help other pre-medical students do the same!
